| Mount Abu: Refferred as the Oasis in the dessert Mount abu is the only hill station in Rajasthan. Located in Sirohi district Mount Abu is 58 Km from Palanpur (Gujarat).This distant rocky plateau is about 22 Km long and 9 Km wide. It is home to rivers, lakes, waterfalls and evergreen forests that makes it a must visit place on an excursion trip from Udaipur. The Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary was established in 1960 covers about 290 kmē of the mountain. Mount Abu is home to a number of Jain temples. The Achalgarh Fort, Nakki Lake etc. are the other major tourist attractions of Mount Abu.
Nagda: Situated at a distance of 23 Km from Udaipur Nagda is an ancient site dated back to the 6th century. The town is renowned for Sas Bahu Temples which have interesting architecture and intricate carvings. A splendid Jain temple Adbudji is also worth visiting during a sight seeing trip from Udaipur.
